While Virginia is a beautiful state full of activities to stay occupied, there are no real opportunities to attend a concert with such a variety of performers. If you’re into the huge list of singers and comedians who will be making an appearance at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas on Nov. 8-10 then this festival is for you.
If independent concerts are what you are into, this fest is for you. Even if you’re just looking for the most convenient opportunity to see famous acts like Snoop Dogg, M.I.A., or MGMT, this fest is for you. Always wondered what it would be like to see a comedian like Sarah Silverman or Patton Oswalt perform live? This festival is for you!
Fun Fun Fun Fest started in 2006 in downtown Austin where it booked its first set of acts. The festival grew on the participants involved and became a well-loved independent festival for music lovers and comedy lovers alike. Fun Fun Fun Fest is best known for its always plausible musical lineup and assortment of comedic acts, great food, action sports and poster art.
As for the ticket price, it’s pretty reasonable considering how outrageously expensive a lot of concert tickets tend to be. The premium pass, which includes tons of extra experiences is only $325. That’s pretty reasonable considering you’ll get to see Snoop Dogg, a ton of other artists and have some freebies thrown in.
A regular three-day pass costs $179, or you can pay $79 for a single night pass. Along with the aforementioned performers, there will be appearances by Tenacious D, Lupe Fiasco, August Burns Red, Little Boots, Misfits and Ice-T. Known comedians that will also have acts during this fun-filled weekend are Sarah Silverman, Patton Oswalt, Craig Robinson and Rob Delaney.
All in all, I’d say anyone who decides to attend this festival will get more than their money’s worth!
