The Eight of Us

Darkness colors the small confinements of our purgatory

Drowning shadows with its thickness

Laughter bouncing off the plastic

Sisters traveling across the cotton cloud

Whispers telling secrets to the air

The air begins to stir

Our home tilts

Darkness becomes the light

1

2

We fall on warm flesh

Certain of our fate

3

4

We land on shaking skin

Confused of our purpose

5

6

We land on clammy hands

Scared of potential

7

8

We land on trembling fingers

Aware of our destruction

Rising to the heavens

Plummeting to the hells

Down we fall

One by one

Knocking against teeth

Sliding down Styx

Light releases the darkness

We scream

Water drowns our cries

Deeper and deeper to Hell

We sink

Our skin dissipates

Water claims our remains

Life begins to fade
