A Makeup Enthusiast’s Favorite Products

My favorite liquid foundation is the Urban Decay Stay Naked foundation. It is a lightweight medium coverage foundation that has a natural finish and can be used on oily or dry skin types. It also has a wide shade range with 50 shades in the line. Urban Decay is also a cruelty free brand, so it is great for those who are vegan or only buy from cruelty free brands. This foundation lasts all day and is best applied with a damp beauty sponge. This foundation is sold at Ulta Beauty, Sephora, and on the Urban Decay website and retails for $39.

My favorite concealer is the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush concealer. It is a full-coverage concealer with micro powders blended into the concealer. This allows for the concealer to blur your pores and brighten your skin for up to 16 hours. This concealer gives a natural and soft finish so it can be used for dry or oily skin types. The concealer’s wand is a doe foot applicator, so it allows for a lot of product to go on your face at once because the product sits in the crater of the applicator. This product goes on very smooth and once it is set it does not settle into fine lines or wrinkles. This concealer is sold at Sephora and on Hourglass’ website and retails for $39.

The best setting powder for dry skin types is the BECCA Cosmetics Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder. This powder is great for us dry skin makeup lovers because it is a weightless setting powder that sets and refreshes your makeup and cools your skin with all moisture that lasts all day. This powder has light coverage and has a natural finish. It is a loose powder that applies best with a damp beauty sponge to set concealer. This setting powder is sold at Ulta Beauty and Sephora and retails for $39 for the full size and $19 for the travel size.

My favorite bronzer is the original Hoola bronzer from Benefit Cosmetics. This is a warm bronzer that is great for light-medium or medium skin types. This bronzer comes in four shades: lite (for light skin tones), original (for medium skin tones), caramel (for medium-deep skin tones), and toasted (for deep skin tones). This bronzer gives the skin a natural tan and can be used as face or body bronzer. This bronzer is sold at Ulta Beauty and Sephora and retails for $30.

The best highlighter I have ever used is from the brand called Persona. The Cali Glow Highlighter in Zuma is the best high reflective glow that is perfect for a statement highlight. This shade is great for medium skin tones. This is a champagne color highlighter with a pearl finish and gives the skin a high strobe glow from within finish. This blush is sold online at Ulta Beauty and retails for $24.

The best brand for blush is Nars. Their blush line is a weightless and natural-looking blush that blends well into the skin and your foundation. My favorite shades are Orgasm, Orgasm X, Sin, and Deep Throat. There are about forty shades in the line and anyone can find a shade that will work for their skin tone and undertone. This blush can be found at Ulta Beauty, Sephora, and the Nars website and retails for $30.
