Sam Harbin is a singer/songwriter in the Music Therapy Program here at Radford University. He plays both string bass and bass guitar and has been in several bands over the course of his journey with music. Although Sam originally came to Radford in 2019 to major in marketing, he quickly changed his major to music therapy to pursue his passion in music and learn how to help others.

Expected to graduate in 2024, Sam spends most of his time participating in ensembles such as Radford’s Jazz Band, directed by Dr. Dayl Burnett, and practicing his different instruments. When asked what his goals are in life, he simply replied, “Be happy. Play music. Make art”.
